The Leadership Toolkit is designed to introduce site and district leaders to E.L. Achieve’s research-based approach and professional development offerings.

 

We present a rationale for focusing on language development and outline a comprehensive framework for English Learner instruction that provides a student-centered, language-focused approach to planning and teaching. The overarching goal of our work is to provide teachers and administrators with the knowledge, skills, and tools to:

Equip English learners with the language they need to express the sophistication of their thinking for real life and academic purposes.

 

This Leadership Toolkit is not designed to equip educators with sufficient guidance needed to implement instruction. That requires comprehensive training and support for implementation, available only through Institutes offered by E.L. Achieve.
